Forgotten FigJam Connector is a tiny utility plugin for designers who use FigJam connectors inside Figma Design files. Feature, that probably should have existed already.Figma Design can paste real FigJam connectors copied from FigJam, but does not provide a native command or shortcut to insert them. This plugin puts a prepared connector payload into your clipboard, so you can immediately paste it into the canvas.Workflow:Run the plugin.Press Enter.Click on the canvas.Press Ctrl/Cmd + V.Tip: The bundled connector is copied from a far-away canvas position, so Figma usually pastes it into the current viewport center instead of its original position.The inserted object is a real FigJam connector, not a vector line.Limitations:- The plugin does not use Figma API to create connectors.- Figma does not officially expose connector creation in Design files.- You still need to paste manually after running the plugin.- If Figma changes its clipboard behavior, this workaround may stop working.No network access. No tracking. No data collection.CustomizationFor now, the plugin ships with one default connector and no settings panel.If you’d like custom presets, colors, stroke styles, arrowheads, or your own default connector, leave a comment.
