Library Pulse turns every library publish into a clear Slack update.When someone publishes changes to your Figma design system library, your team usually finds out by accident – a surprised "wait, when did this change?" days later.Library Pulse closes that gap. Open the plugin in your library and it identifies the file automatically: no file links, no IDs.Pick Slack channels from a searchable list. Search your workspace's channels (sorted by size, private ones included where the bot has been added), no hunting for channel IDs.Tag the right people automatically. Add an optional note that posts with every update – type @ to mention teammates or user groups (like @design-team) from a searchable picker, and they're pinged on every publish.One shared setup per file. Everyone with edit access to the Figma file sees and can edit the same configuration – channels and the note – instead of setting it up again. Only the person who originally connected the file can remove its Figma connection.Works for anyone – no Figma admin required. It watches the specific file you choose, using your access to that file. It connects your Figma account automatically (one quick browser confirmation the first time) and identifies the file on its own.Connect your Slack workspace (Slack workspace admin approval required).Pick your Slack channel(s), optionally write a custom message with @mentionsSave & Activate.That's it. From then on, every publish of that Figma file posts an update to your Slack channels.Privacy & SecurityLibrary Pulse asks Figma only for permission to manage webhooks on your file, to check that you can access it, and to read published component/style metadata (which is how it identifies the file) – it never reads your designs or file contents.In Slack it can post messages and list channel, member, and user-group names for the pickers – it never reads your messages.All credentials are encrypted at rest. Custom-message text is escaped, so only mentions chosen from the picker can ping anyone – a pasted "@channel" stays plain text.Requires:A Slack workspace where you can add an app; edit access to the Figma library file you want to watch; and the library published at least once (that's how the plugin identifies the file).Publishing libraries is a paid-plan Figma feature; Slack user groups require a paid Slack plan (people-mentions work on every plan).
