About this plugin
Design Check audits a Figma file against a design rubric and shows a color-coded pass / warn / fail report — built for design coursework, so students can catch problems before submitting and instructors get a fast first read.Run it on any file and it checks:Layer hygiene — default/unrenamed layersComponents — usage, detached or broken instancesTypography — shared text styles, type scale sprawlColor — raw fills vs. color styles/variablesLayout — manual positioning vs. Auto LayoutContrast — text vs. background WCAG ratio (estimated, flagged as WARN only)Mobile — touch target sizes on mobile-width framesClick any flagged layer in the report and the plugin selects and zooms to it on the canvas, so you can jump straight to the fix.Runs entirely locally — no account, no token, no network access. Thresholds are tuned for coursework, not enterprise design systems, so expect it to flag things a production file wouldn't.
