About this plugin
Library Swapper helps you swap styles, variables, and components between libraries without hand-editing every layer. How it worksScan – Run the plugin on a selection or a whole page. It finds every applied style, variable, and component and groups them by the library they came from, so you can see exactly what's linked to what.Choose a target – Pick the library you want to switch to. Library Swapper auto-matches each item to its counterpart in the target library by name, and you can manually override any match you disagree with.Swap – Apply the changes. Your selection is re-pointed to the new library in place; nothing is duplicated or detached.Components use a one-time index. Figma's API doesn't expose the names of remote component libraries, so before swapping components you open each library's source file once and click "Index this file." Any style, variable, or component that is not from an indexed or local file will be grouped as External.Good to knowWorks on styles, variables, and components.Auto-matching with full manual controlNo account, no login, no backend. The plugin runs entirely inside Figma and only reaches out to Google Fonts for its typeface. Your index and preferences are stored locally in Figma (clientStorage and file plugin data) and never sent anywhere.
