About this plugin

Figma's PDF export is far bigger than it needs to be, and ordinary compression tools barely dent it.The reason is in how the export is built. Figma paints every single glyph as a fresh vector outline, at six decimal places per coordinate. The letter "e" in a paragraph isn't referenced sixty times, it's redrawn sixty times. On a text-heavy page that's around 95,000 curve operators and over 90% of the file. Images and fonts are a rounding error by comparison, which is exactly why image-focused compressors find nothing to work with.Tiny PDF Export rewrites that geometry at a sensible precision, downsamples any image that is genuinely oversampled, and recompresses. What you getRoughly half the file size on a typical text-heavy exportText stays selectable and searchable, which matters for CVs going through applicant tracking systems and for anything a client needs to searchColours untouched. Brand colours and background tints are excluded from the rounding, so nothing shiftsA precision slider, so the trade-off is yours to makeSelect and order pages via different selection modesMeasuredA two-page CV exported from Figma went from 2.86 MB to 1.46 MB, and 2.90 MB to 1.31 MB. Extractable word count unchanged. Rendered at 200 dpi and diffed against the originals, under 1.5% of pixels differ, all of it sub-pixel antialiasing on glyph edges.PrivacyEverything runs on your machine. The plugin declares no network access at all, so it cannot upload your document even in principle. How to useSelect one or more frames and run it, or run it with nothing selected to export every top-level frame on the page. Each frame downloads as its own PDF.
