Bulk Content Sync lets you take content out of Figma, edit it in bulk using ordinary tools like spreadsheets or text editors, and sync those edits straight back onto the original layers — no manual copy-pasting or re-uploading one asset at a time.It works by scanning your selection, the current page, or the whole document and pulling out everything editable: text layer content, component instance properties (booleans, variants, text overrides, instance swaps), image fills, and full layer metadata (names, paths, positions, visibility, lock state). Text and simple content export to a CSV you can open in Excel or Google Sheets for fast copy edits; everything — including images embedded as base64 and structured component data — exports to a single JSON bundle for more complex changes.Once you've made your edits externally, you upload the file back into the plugin. It matches every row back to its exact original layer using Figma's node IDs, so there's no ambiguity about what gets updated even across deeply nested frames. Text edits automatically load the correct font before applying, so styling isn't lost. Component property edits only touch properties that still exist on that instance, so you can't accidentally push stale values onto a component that's changed shape since export. Image edits create fresh Figma images from the new bytes and swap them into the existing fill.After applying changes, you get a per-layer log showing exactly what was updated, skipped, or failed, with a click-to-select link so you can jump straight to any layer on the canvas to double-check the result.It's built for workflows like bulk copy/translation passes, swapping placeholder images across many components at once, or updating variant properties across a large set of instances — anything where editing layer-by-layer inside Figma would be too slow.
