About this plugin

Exactframe draws device frames as real Figma shapes. Not a picture of a phone — a rounded rectangle with the corner radius the hardware actually has, a screen that clips your layers instead of flattening them, and a notch that is a vector path you can select. Everything it puts in your file is still yours to change afterwards.IT WORKS OFFLINE, AND YOUR IT REVIEW CAN CHECK THAT. Exactframe declares no network access, and Figma prints that on this page beside the last-updated date — so the person who approves plugins where you work can confirm it without contacting me. There is no server behind this plugin, no account, and nothing to sign in to: nothing to fill in on a security questionnaire, nothing that can stop working because a service went down, and no VPN needed to reach anything. That is not a feature list item; it is the reason the plugin is built the way it is.103 DEVICES, MEASURED RATHER THAN TRACED. Screen corner radii come from each device's own display mask, so the curve is the real one — including the corner smoothing, which is why the frames sit correctly instead of looking approximately right. Body outlines come from published technical specifications. Notch and Dynamic Island geometry was measured per generation, because the inset from the top edge is not the same on all of them.Covers iPhone devices, iPad models and Apple Watch models from the iPhone X generation onward, and 15 Pixel screens — 12 phones, two folding phones opened out, and a tablet. The Pixel frames come from the same kind of source: each phone's corner radius and camera-hole position are read out of its own device tree in the Android source, the body comes from Google's published specifications, and the screens are sized in dp — so a 412 × 917 artboard matches a Pixel 8 without anything being typed.BUTTONS, WHERE APPLE PUBLISHES THE DRAWING. 26 iPhone models now carry their edge controls — action button, volume, ring/silent, side button, Camera Control, SIM tray — placed at the dimension printed on that model's own mechanical drawing. They stay attached to their real edge when you turn the device, so a volume button ends up along the bottom in landscape rather than down the side. Models Apple has not published a drawing for get no buttons rather than borrowed ones, and the plugin tells you which case you are in.SELECT A FRAME AND IT KNOWS WHAT IT IS. A 402 × 874 frame is an iPhone 17 Pro; you do not type anything. Nothing is ever refused for being the wrong size — an unusual frame still gets framed, at the nearest device, and the plugin says so plainly.CHANGE YOUR MIND AFTERWARDS. Select a frame it drew and swap the device, the angle, the colour or the artwork. Changing an existing frame is always free, at any point, on any plan.WHAT IS IN IT• 103 device frames — 33 iPhone, 30 iPad, 25 Apple Watch, 15 Pixel (including two folding phones and a tablet)• Automatic device detection from the selected frame's size• Portrait and landscape, with the notch and the Dynamic Island staying on the correct physical edge when the device is turned• Seven angle presets, and six body colours plus any custom hex• Four shadow presets• Your layers nested inside the screen, or flattened to an image if you prefer• Sizes from 25% to 200%WHAT IS NOT IN IT• No account, no sign-in, no server• No subscription• No forced attribution — the free frames are not watermarked and carry no credit requirement• No AI generationPRICE$5, once. Not a subscription. There is nothing to cancel and nothing that can lapse. THE FIRST 100 FRAMES ARE FREE, with every device and every option available. Nothing is held back during them.Changing a frame the plugin already drew — device, angle, colour, artwork — never costs a frame and never stops working, on any plan.NOTICESThis plugin is an independent product and has not been authorized, sponsored, or otherwise approved by Apple Inc.iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions.
