Select a frameand the calendar goes inside it; select nothing and it goes on the canvas.THE DATES ARE WORKED OUT, NOT LOOKED UPEvery date, weekday and week number is computed from arithmetic that shipsinside the plugin. No calendar service, no API key, no account. The samesettings always give the same calendar, on any machine, in any time zone —the plugin never reads the clock or the time zone of the computer it runs on.Week numbers follow ISO 8601, including the weeks that belong to the yeareither side of the one you asked for.WHAT YOU CAN CHANGEYear, first month, how many months, how many columns they sit in, the size ofa day, whether the days either side of the month are shown, whether ISO weeknumbers are shown, which day the week starts on — Monday, Sunday or Saturday —and the colours for weekends and holidays. Month and weekday names come in 15languages, carried inside the plugin rather than borrowed from the editor.AND THE HOLIDAYS — THE PART NOTHING ELSE HERE BRINGSPublic holidays for 23 countries, marked in the grid and, if you want, namedunder the date. They are worked out on your own machine from the rules thatship with the plugin: fixed days, "the third Monday in January", days countedfrom Easter, Japan's equinoxes, and the substitute days that follow when aholiday lands on a weekend. Japan's substitute holidays and the weekday caughtbetween two holidays are both handled, and so are the one-off moves of 2019,2020 and 2021.THIS ONE, OR MY OTHER CALENDAR PLUGINThey are two different plugins, not one plugin at two prices, and neither onecontains the other. Which you want depends on the file you are working in.Calendarset — this one — places every cell at a fixed position, which is whatlets the preview be the output.
