About this plugin

Change multiple descriptions of your components, styles or variables at once! Even works with Documentation Links!

Based on the Figma rename-tool (CMD + R), it's powerful and simple to use. Just select a few components and open the plugin.

You can find & replace (even with Regular Expressions if you want), or just change every description. Also supports importing the recently used values, using incrementing (or decrementing) numbers, the current description and the layer name.

This plugin offers a nice preview to see what your descriptions will look like before changing it.

For Components

Change multiple descriptions of your selected components at once!

You can also switch to document-wide mode to change all components in the whole document. But be careful, that's very powerful! 😄

For Styles

Change the description of text, color, effect and grid styles. Just switch to the "Styles" tab!

New: For Variables

You can now also change the description of all of your variables across all collections. Just switch to the new "Variables" tab!
