About this plugin
Currently in public beta.
The purpose of Aninix is to provide the handiest way to create UI animations. To this end, we have specifically limited the animation features to those supported by native platforms (iOS, android and web). Therefore, all the animations you create can be easily incorporated into the product by developers.

FEATURES
Import of prototypes
Don't start from scratch. Figma has done an amazing job of making animations in prototypes easy to work with. But when Figma's capabilities aren't enough, we provide an easy way to improve your animation with keyframe system.
Animation presets
To speed up work on animations, we have created a hand-crafted library of animated presets. One click and the animation is ready. And later you can customize it to your liking.
Lottie
As a fact, the Lottie format is the most used in the world when it comes to small animations in products. We don't stand on the sidelines and have made full support of this.
Developer handoff (animation specifications)
But when Lottie is not enough, or you have a complex animation in mind, we provide a simple view of your animation for developers. Support for all necessary animated properties and CSS code generation.
Export to all popular formats
If you need the media format, we give you the ability to export to all popular formats: .mp4, .gif, .webm, .svg and .png sequence.
2-way Figma synchronization
For a more intuitive animation process, we made it possible to start and continue working on animations directly from Figma.

FAQ
How it differentiate from other animation plugins?
We aim to create an analog to After Effects, but much simpler, so that designers can create powerful animations in a fast and easy way.
Our main difference is in the rendering engine and viewport. In Aninix, you work in a separate window and don't use the Figma viewport, unlike other plugins.
This feature allows us to create the best UX we can provide.
How it differentiate from other animation apps?
It's just our mentality and vision of how animation should work. We are strongly focused on UI animation and do our best to make life easier for product designers. We really love Figma and want to take it to the next level with animation flows.
How to start using Aninix?
Just run plugin: "Plugins -> Aninix" and it will navigate you through next steps.
How can I be sure of data security when working with Aninix?
The plugin system feels not stable. And you are still in beta.
Yes, we are in the beta stage. But data safety and protection is one of the fundamental rules of our development. That's why we take great care to make sure that your data is protected.
All animated data is stored on each of the Figma layers. If you copy-paste the layers, you copy-paste the animation as well. You can make unlimited copies of your animation on every iteration.
We also use Figma's mechanism to store file history. So you can navigate through your file history to download older versions of the animation.
What kind of animations I can do with this plugin?
Aninix is best suits with the development of a motion design system, where you animate buttons, screen appearing and transitions, etc.
Also you can create promotional material for social media or other animated content, but that's like a side effect of what we do.
You can check examples at our playground.
Does it support all features from Figma?
Currently no. You can check full list of supported features here: https://www.aninix.com/wiki/supported-figma-features
Is there any special requirements to files?
No 🙂
But Aninix is ignoring all unsupported features. So it would be better to design file with using of supported features only.
But this is temporal turnaround because we plan to add all features from Figma in nearest future.
Where I can check the list of hotkeys?
Please visit: https://www.aninix.com/wiki/hotkeys.
Where is my data stored?
All animation data is stored locally on our servers and as a copy in Figma files. It's required to provide additional data-safety layer and multiplayer features we plan to ship in the future. We are using Google Cloud Platform.
I found a bug. What I have to do?
First of all don't panic 😉
Aninix saves your data automatically so you wouldn't lost any progress. And as the next step please leave comment here or reach our founder directly at [email protected].
