About this plugin

Scale layers with Quick Actions Search Bar (⌘+/)


With Scale Command you can do these:

  1. The fastest way to scale images to 50%, trigger this plugin with custom shortcut and press "Enter", done!
  2. Just input 24w or 75, you can quickly and accurately scale images to 24 pixels width or 75% overall.
  3. Scale images from any origin point you want.


How to use

  1. Install this plugin and select one or more layers in Figma/Figjam.
  2. Open quick actions search bar (follow this article).
  3. Input scc in the search bar, you will see the Scale Command> ⊡ Center command and other commands in the suggestions list.
  4. Select the origin point you want to use from the suggested list, or continue typing the keyword you need, eg scctl will display the Scale Command> ╒ Top Left command, press "Enter" or "Tab" to use the command.
  5. In the scale parameter input box, you can enter a width, a height, a percentage or a multiple, then press "Enter" to scale.


Scaling Syntax

  • Scale to specified width: w + width number (or + w suffix). eg w24, w512, 24w, 512w
  • Scale to specified height: h + height number (or + h suffix). eg h24, h512, 24h, 512h
  • Scale by percentage: percentage figures. eg 200 (equals 200%) , 75(equals 75%)
  • Scale by multiple: multiple number + x. eg 2x, 0.75x


Tips

  1. Set a shortcut for Plugins->Scale Command->⊡ Center command, recommended use Command + Shift + S
  2. After input any number, you can use the arrow keys to select suggested values.
