Style Dictionary to Variables

About this plugin

Import your Style Dictionary JSON file as Figma variables and variable aliases. Supports updating existing token collections.

Limitations

• Does not support boolean
• JSON file must be in Style Dictionary CTI format
• Only 1 JSON file and token type at a time

Instructions

1. Select import mode. If you select the "Update existing" import mode, the plugin will try to update the collection with a name matching what is defined as part of the group field on a token property. Tokens will be replaced based on their names as well.
2. Drop or select Style Dictionary JSON file
3. Variables should be created in “Local variables”
