Building on our robust variable export and import capabilities, String-along 2.0 introduces a comprehensive suite of new features designed to enhance your workflow in Figma even further.

What's New in Version 2.0:

• Advanced Manage Tab: A standout feature of 2.0, the Manage tab brings full string management to Figma. It automatically loads and categorizes all text elements on your current page, grouping them by their root frame for easy access, search, and more.

• Text Node Search: Within the Manage tab, a unified fuzzy search feature allows you to filter by text content or variable name.

• String Annotations: Add a status annotation to any text element, with options for both silent and visual annotations to suit your workflow needs. Then you can group the text nodes on the current page based on its annotated status.

• Edit Text Nodes: Through the manage tab, you can edit text nodes, writing custom copy, or attaching them to existing or new string variables. This feature significantly enhances the plugin's utility for managing dynamic content across your projects and maximizes your ability to take advantage of string variables in Figma.

• Bulk Editing: String-along 2.0 introduces bulk editing capabilities, enabling you to apply changes to multiple text elements simultaneously. Whether annotating, modifying text, or linking variables, these changes are reflected across all selected elements, saving you time and ensuring consistency.
