About this plugin

Introduction

Content Generator AI is a powerful Figma plugin designed to help you generate realistic content for your text layers using AI.

How it works

1. Select one or multiple text layers.
2. Run the Content Generator AI plugin.
3. Describe the kind of content you want to generate.
4. Click Generate Content!

Note: If you're using this plugin to populate data in a data table, you can only do one column of data at a time. It does not have knowledge or the ability to populate different data for multiple columns at the same time.

Features:

• Easy-to-Use Interface: Input your OpenAI API key and prompt directly in the plugin's UI.
• Dynamic Content Generation: Generate text content based on custom prompts provided by you.
• Auto Close Option: Optionally auto-close the plugin after content generation.
• Prompt History: Displays your previous prompts to re-run them quickly.
• Search: Search your prompt history.
• Seamless Integration: Apply generated content directly to the selected text layers in your Figma file.

Requirements

You MUST have an OpenAI project API key (it looks like "sk-proj-") and have some credits/money loaded into your OpenAI account in order to use this plugin. Sign up at OpenAI to obtain your API key.

Sample Content Prompts

• Random, diverse full names
• Phone numbers from Cupertino
• Random numbers between 75.0% and 100% to one decimal place
• Random statuses from the following: Complete, Pending, Error
• Timestamps in the format mm/dd/yyyy, hh:mm AM
