About this plugin

Play board games and card games, right in Figma! This plugin helps with card management, dice rolling, hidden information, and general usability.

Open the playground Figma file for pre-made cards, tokens, and dice!

Features

1. Sneak a peek at any card or token by selecting it while it is face-down. You will get a preview of the front of the card in your plugin window.
2. See how many objects you currently have selected.
3. Flip any number of cards or tokens that you have selected.
4. Roll any number of dice that you have selected.
5. Stack objects - this aligns them horizontally and offsets them by 1px vertically, randomizes the layer order, and flips them face-down.
6. Shuffle objects - this randomizes the layer order of every object you have selected.
7. Expand a stack of objects - this lays them out side-by-side and flips them face-up, allowing you to quickly see all objects in a stack.
8. When you select any object, automatically bring it to the top of the layer hierarchy so it appears on top of other objects.

Custom Card & Token Preparation

1. Create a card or token component that contains a layer named "Front" and a layer named "Back".
2. Duplicate the component into as many instances as you need for that particular card/token.
3. Now you can use the Tabletop plugin to manipulate the instances of your cards or tokens!
4. Optional: Export a PNG image of your "Front" layer, paste it into your component beneath the other layers, and rename it "Preview". This will speed up the preview image that is generated in the plugin when the object is selected.

Custom Dice Preparation

1. Create a die component that contains at least 2 layers named "Face".
2. Duplicate the component into as many instances as you need.
3. Now you can use the Tabletop plugin to roll your dice!
