QR Code Automation
Auto update multiple QR-Codes with one click
Plugin Preview
About this plugin
This plugin allows you to update / replace all QR codes in your Figma file with just one click! You have the total control over sizes, and Color!
How to use it:
- Create a text layer.
- Name the text layer "QR-Link". (You can change the content of this layer at any time — the name should remain "QR-Link".)
- Create one or multiple rectangles (squares) and name them "QR-Code".
- Create a second text layer
- Name the text layer "QR-color", and add the Hex code of the color you want your QR-Code to have inside the text layer.
- Run the Plugin
The plugin will generate a QR code using the content from the "QR-Link" text layer. It will place the QR code over each rectangle named "QR-Code" and match the dimensions of the rectangle. If the rectangle is inside a frame, the QR code will be placed inside that frame as well.
If you run the plugin again, the existing QR codes will be replaced with the updated ones.
Hint:
- It's not a problem if there are multiple text layers named "QR-Link" — just make sure that all of them contain the exact same text content. Otherwise, the plugin will not run.
- It does not matter if you add the Hex-code with or without the #
