About this plugin

A Figma plugin to export selected vector layers as a set of icons. The plugin can output several formats such as:individual SVG filesan SVG sprite using elementsJSON metadata describing each iconSF Symbols compatible SVGsan optional HTML demo showing all iconsIn the main “Export Icons” interface, you can choose which formats to produce: individual SVGs, a “Symbol” sprite, SF Symbols package, JSON file, and an HTML example (there is also a “kotlin” option still in development).After you select the desired formats, click Generate and the plugin will bundle the files into a ZIP archive that is downloaded automatically, optionally including an example folder.Additionally, you can adjust the SF Symbols variations and sizes in the “Settings” screen.The plugin offers a GitHub tab as well, allowing you to push the generated files directly to a repository through a personal token. The form accepts repository details and can automatically open a pull request.How to use it in FigmaSelect the vectors you want in your Figma file.Open the “Symbols Icons” plugin. In the Icons tab, check the formats you want to export and click Generate.If needed, tweak SF Symbols options in Settings, choosing weight/scale variations and custom sizes.To send files directly to GitHub, fill in the info under the GitHub tab and click Commit.Points of attentionThe plugin communicates with the GitHub API. Provide a token with the correct permissions and keep it secure.Enable only the SF Symbols variations you really need, since extra sizes and weights increase the final output size.The Kotlin export feature is currently disabled (“coming soon”).This plugin streamlines the creation of icon packages, making it easy to download them in a ZIP file or even send them straight to a GitHub repository.
