About this plugin

GenUI helps designers rapidly explore product UI ideas from concise prompts while keeping results editable and structured.

What it does:

Generates frames, layout structure, and key components (text blocks, buttons, inputs, sections) from a natural language brief.

Supports iterative refinement: you can ask for adjustments (e.g. “tighter spacing”, “add dark mode variant”, “add onboarding step”).

Produces clean, named layers you can directly edit—no raster images.

Can generate partial sections (hero, auth form, footer) instead of entire screens.

Maintains consistent spacing, hierarchy, and accessible contrast guidance in suggestions.

Optionally explains reasoning (why certain layout or hierarchy choices were made).

How to use:

Add the plugin.

On your figma design page, open the plugin: Right click -> Plugins → GenUI.

Enter a prompt (e.g. “Mobile sign‑in screen with email + password, social login, strong primary CTA”).

Click Send. A structured layout with components appears.

Refine by entering follow-up instructions (e.g. “Add password reset link below form” or “Convert buttons to outlined style”).

Continue until satisfied; all layers remain native Figma objects.
