Task Checker brings lightweight, team-friendly task management directly into your Figma/FigJam canvas. Create tasks tied to the file or a specific layer, set priority and deadlines, add subtasks and audio notes, assign owners, and collaborate with safe, role-based permissions. Toggle between private (just for you) or shared (file-wide) storage and keep everything organized with drag-and-drop ordering and an archive.

Collaboration & permissions (shared mode)

Shared mode stores tasks in the file so everyone with access can see them

Only the task’s creator can edit or archive it

Tasks without an owner (legacy items) can be deleted to keep things clean

Private mode stores tasks only for you (client storage)

Storage & privacy

Private mode: stored locally (client storage)

Shared mode: stored in the current Figma file (plugin data)

No external servers; data stays in Figma or your local client storage

Uses Figma’s current user permission to determine task ownership

How to use

Open the plugin and create a new task (optionally bind to file/layer).

Add priority, deadline, subtasks, and an assignee if needed.

Choose storage: Private (you only) or Shared (this file).

Reorder tasks by drag-and-drop; archive when done.

In Shared mode, only the creator can edit/archive; anyone can delete ownerless legacy tasks.

Permissions requested

currentuser: Used to identify the current user for task ownership and permissions.

English, Russian, Ukrainian, Kazakh, Korean, Spanish, German, Japanese.
