It’s like Auto Layout Grid and Functionality had a baby.

This plugin augments Figma’s Auto Layout Grids by adding a bunch of functionality that you wish was native. It gives you full control over rows, columns, and children—while keeping everything intuitive and fast.

If you make a lot of data tables, this will probably be helpful in your workflow.

This plugin allows you to:

1. Add, move, and duplicate rows and columns anywhere
2. Dynamically hug content—rows, columns, or both automatically size to fit what’s inside
3. Fill content automatically (horizontal, vertical, or both)
4. Swap multiple rows, columns, or cells in one go
5. Resize content on drop—anything dragged into a grid instantly matches the cell’s size
6. Select every other row or column for pattern-based editing
7. …plus dozens of smaller refinements that make creating tables in Figma less of a pain.

What’s new in v3

1. Independent child fill modes: Each element now stores its own fill settings.
2. Persistent alignment and behavior: Children keep their fill, alignment, and sizing when moved, swapped, or duplicated.
3. Dynamic row/column hugging: Hug tracks respond instantly to content changes for fluid resizing.
4. Enhanced span logic: More predictable moves and swaps across multi-cell elements.
5. Track sizing indicators: Clear “A / H / F” (Auto / Hug / Fixed) labels on the grid visualizer.
6. Helper and requirement dialogs: Friendly feedback when helper rows or Auto columns are needed.
7. Refined contextual toolbars: Cleaner segmented controls, smarter labels, and improved ergonomics.
8. Major performance boost: Most of the computations only run when needed—it should, hopefully, perform much better for those of you who where having some performance issues...
