About this plugin
Getting tired of watching async shares of work in Figma in a tiny video frame? This plugin enables you to record your Figma viewport while audio recording and share it with others — so that others can follow along your narration directly in Figma.
To use the plugin, head to https://recordtrace.vercel.app and download the MacOS companion app. Optionally, you can also register for an account on that site, which enables additional features like a recording history and protecting recordings with a password. The plugin will connect to the desktop app automatically once both are open. The desktop app lives in your MacOS task bar in the top right. It does not open an app window.
Since this is an initial release, there is no automatic update functionality built into the Desktop app, so if the plugin stops working, please visit the above website to download the most recent desktop app version.
